Registered Nurse - First Assist (Part Time)

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care with other departments
• Ensures patient rights and confidentiality
• Performs duties aligned with organizational mission and standards
• Delivers safe, effective patient care
• Adheres to professional standards
• Maintains continuous certification and compliance with unit-specific requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license (state or compact)
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others may be required based on the unit

Skills & Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
