Registered Nurse - Family Birth Center

About the role

The Family Birth Center at Kapi'olani is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. This position provides nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care. The ideal candidate will function as an associate to a charge nurse and eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care
• Function as an associate to a charge nurse
• Eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities

Requirements

• Current Hawai’i Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards
• One (1) year recent registered nurse experience in high risk labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• Two (2) years recent registered nurse experience in high risk labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum preferred
• Current or recent fetal monitoring class and certification preferred

Pay

$51.12 - $70.89 USD per hour
