About the role
This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced ER nurses to expand their skills in a supportive environment in Shakopee, MN.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients in need
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care
- Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- Ability to work up to every other weekend
- May be placed on call as needed for the department
Qualifications
- Must be a local resident within a 100-mile radius
- Pending license accepted
- No RTO restrictions (ideally no more than 5 days)
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (Epic)
