Job Description

The staff Nurse provides direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This ensures that the physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families are addressed. This function is performed in collaboration with nursing peers and co-workers, attending physicians, and allied support services. This position is responsible for managing the care of assigned patients and directing the activities of the ancillary staff.

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• 2 years of ER experience
• Weekend rotation is required, but there is no on-call requirement.
