Registered Nurse, Endoscopy Suite, Per Diem
About the role
Under the direction of the Nurse Director, functions as a professional by utilizing the nursing process in caring for patients from admission to discharge. Is responsible for incorporating general, age-specific and unit specific competencies into the care provided and is responsible for adherence to Marlborough Hospital standards and standards in accordance with the licensure of Registered Nurses by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and American Nursing Association.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process in caring for patients from admission to discharge.
- Incorporates general, age-specific and unit specific competencies into the care provided.
- Adheres to Marlborough Hospital standards and standards in accordance with the licensure of Registered Nurses by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and American Nursing Association.
Qualifications
- BLS certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prioritization and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
- Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail.
Skills
Flexible start times for 8 hours shifts, 7am to 9am.
