Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy department assisting with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and prioritize effectively is essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care episodes in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers.
- Deliver safe, quality health care through direct care or supervision of others.
- Assist with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients.
- Collaborate with a team and prioritize effectively.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide abdominal pressure during procedures.
Requirements
- Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing required.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
- 3 years of nursing experience.
- Critical care experience preferred.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing.

- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.

Pay
Varying shifts/start times based on business need. 10-hour shifts with possible rotating day/night/holiday call.
Schedule
RNs are expected to stay beyond shift end to care for patients.
