Registered Nurse- Employee Health

About the role

• Perform new hire health screenings, including tuberculosis testing, respirator clearance, and required immunization review.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, CMS, Joint Commission, Kentucky Department for Public Health, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Administer vaccines in accordance with CDC recommendations and hospital policies.
• Maintain confidential employee health records in compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate annual health requirements, including influenza vaccination programs and tuberculosis surveillance.
• Monitor compliance with employee health requirements and notify departments of deficiencies.
• Provide assessment, counseling, testing, and follow-up after employee exposures.
• Provide health education regarding disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and occupational safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid KY RN license.
• 1+ years of nursing experience required.
• Basic infection control course required.
• BLS required through American Heart Association (renewals included with employment).

Job Demands

• Strong communication skills.
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Schedule

Full-time position, 32 hours per week, day shift.
