About the role
Travel ER RN assignments at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC place you in an 853-bed Level I trauma center. The hospital is recognized for its comprehensive emergency services and Magnet designation for nursing excellence. Asheville is nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, offering vibrant arts, music, and outdoor activities. Charlotte is about a 2-hour drive southeast, making it easy to enjoy metropolitan amenities during your assignment.
Responsibilities
- Triage and rapid assessment of patients
- Strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
- Current RN licensure (Compact accepted)
- 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS-AHA, PALS-AHA, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
- SSN and DOB required for compliance
- Work history with no more than a 90-day gap in the last year
- Experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
- Experience in high-acuity ER settings
