Registered Nurse - Emergency Room - Per Diem

About the Role

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Emergency Department. Utilize the nursing process for patient planning, guide unlicensed staff, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Travel to multiple locations (Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, Skokie) is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage patient care on assigned units
• Direct interdisciplinary team efforts
• Promote high-quality patient experiences

Requirements

• Current Illinois nursing license
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school (BSN preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Active NIHSS certification
• Minimum two years recent acute care Emergency Department experience with telemetry competence

Pay

Hourly pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 depending on experience.
