Essential Functions
- Perform essential functions of a Registered Nurse including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, and evaluation
- Effectively enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices
- Maintain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practices
- Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues
- Collaborate with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice
- Integrate research findings into clinical practice
Position Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Hold a valid license from the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse in good standing
- Have current BLS certification at hire
- Obtain ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications within 90 days of hire
- Obtain PALS certification within 6 months
- Possess preferred certifications: ENPC and TNCC
- Complete non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar
- Have basic computer skills (expected for this position)
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (beginning skills)
Work Shift
- Part-Time, .6 FTE
- 24 hours per week
- Scheduled Days: Variable
- Scheduled Shift: Weekdays 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
- Every 4th Weekend
- Every 3rd Holiday
