About the role
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a freestanding emergency room in collaboration with medical providers and care teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient pain and perform procedures
- Document care and respond promptly to patient needs
- Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes
- Advocate for patients
- Rotate through different care areas as needed
- Perform delegated duties and contribute to departmental and organizational goals
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
- At least two years of emergency room experience

- Advanced nursing knowledge
- Excellent communication
- Ability to provide culturally competent, individualized care
