Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

About the role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members. The role involves coordinating patient care across departments, maintaining patient rights, and safeguarding confidentiality, all while aligning with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice or valid compact licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year ER experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or ENPC may be required based on unit.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform clinical duties involving reaching, bending, and kneeling.
