Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process. The RN evaluates care effectiveness, coordinates patient treatment with interdisciplinary teams, upholds patient rights, and maintains confidentiality in accordance with organizational standards. Work Environment: Provides care in a 24-bed Emergency Department within a Level III trauma setting, managing diverse acute and complex cases such as post-op cardiac, neurosurgical, trauma, renal, and medical emergencies. Ensures rapid stabilization and advanced treatment coordination. Responsibilities Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans.Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive patient management.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and patient rights.Maintain accurate documentation and communication. Qualifications And Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or ENPC may be required based on department needs.Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform movements like reaching, bending, and kneeling.
