Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time

About the role

This position involves providing expert emergency nursing care across various facilities within a healthcare network, primarily in fast-paced emergency departments. As part of the WellStar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.), you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, administer treatments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, respond swiftly to critical situations, educate patients and families, and ensure accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, intervene, and evaluate emergency patients.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Coordinate with physicians and teams to develop care plans.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent ED RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC or ATCN preferred.
