Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time

Role Overview: Join the WellStar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.) Float Pool as an emergency nurse providing care across multiple facilities. Your expertise will ensure patient-centered, critical care in fast-paced emergency department settings, responding effectively to emergencies and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and teams.Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.Maintain accurate, timely documentation per standards. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2+ years of recent ED RN experience.Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.Active RN license (state or Compact).Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC or ATCN preferred.Strong critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
