About the role

RNs provide professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care.

We are a 45-bed, Level I Trauma Center serving patients across Vermont and Northern New York. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team including Physicians, Fellows/Residents, RNs, MHTs, and ED Techs. RNs are trained to cover the Charge RN role and to precept.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
  • ADN required, BSN preferred.
  • Appropriate experience in specific clinical areas, varies by unit.

Qualifications

Must have at least 1 year of recent Emergency Department Nursing experience to qualify.
