Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Position Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability. Coordinates care with other departments and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by team members, aligning with organizational standards and values. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment, particularly in the Emergency Trauma Center.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to deliver comprehensive care.Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with policies.Participate in specialized programs such as trauma, pediatric emergency, behavioral health, and SANE.Engage in ongoing professional development through programs like the Emergency Trauma Center Nursing Fellowship. Qualifications And Skills Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.Hospital-based nursing experience required; emergency department experience preferred.Certifications such as AHA Healthcare Provider, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC required within specified timeframes.
