Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and professional accountability for assigned patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality of care delivered by direct caregivers and coordinate interdisciplinary patient care.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in compliance with organizational standards.
• Perform duties consistent with the organization's mission, values, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) may be required based on department.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks including gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
