Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the role

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible. Weekend Option night shift Charge Nurse position Saturday and Sunday nights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with top medical professionals in a full-service, 17-bed emergency department.
• Serve the Morgan County community, equipped to care for all medical and traumatic emergencies across all age groups.
• Maintain less than a 1% left without being seen rate and exceed targeted patient experience scores.
• Lead and support the emergency department team as Charge Nurse.

Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care.
• Must have 1–2 years of experience.
