Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the role

This position involves delivering high-quality emergency nursing care in a state-of-the-art department. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care, assess healthcare needs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and professional nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on clinical guidelines.
• Support department goals with a customer-focused approach.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain flexibility to float to similar units as needed.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Successful completion of nursing orientation.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP preferred, TNCC within one year.
• Competency in IV therapy within one year.
• Participation in Skills Fair and ongoing professional development encouraged.
• Experience in emergency care and ability to work in a fast-paced environment preferred.
