Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care, including direct nursing, patient/family education, and care transitions. They support professional practice across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards. The RN demonstrates leadership through mentoring, informal leadership, and quality improvement activities, delegating tasks based on skill, experience, and resource availability. Qualifications include a nursing program graduate, with preferred one year of RN or LPN experience. Candidates must hold a current RN license, BLS certification, and demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, is required. Some roles may require driving. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship, pending licensure and certification. The position is full-time, nonexempt, offering benefits, a competitive hourly wage starting at $36.78, and opportunities for professional growth. The RN will generally work 8-hour shifts, typically from 11 am to 7 pm, every other weekend and holiday.
