Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. Key Responsibilities Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care within the professional practice model.Provide leadership through precepting, informal/formal leadership, and quality improvement activities.Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, and resource availability.Support professional nursing practice across various settings and care continuum.Mentor, teach, and participate in committees or projects; may be required to drive personal vehicle for role-related duties. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.Preferred: One year of RN experience or one year of LPN experience at the organization.Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred.Current RN license; BLS competency required (specific to location).Ability to work flexible hours, adapt to unpredictable situations, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Additional Details: This nonexempt role offers competitive compensation starting at $36.78/hour, benefits, and part-time schedule with 12-hour day/night shifts, including every third weekend/holiday. The role supports sponsorship for TN visa candidates and requires applicable state licensure and certifications.
