Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the Role

This position involves providing patient care in various shifts, including part-time day, full-time evening, and night, as well as per diem work. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment, often involving walking, standing, bending, and lifting in both office and patient care settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and deliver clinical care according to protocols.
• Utilize PPE and maintain infection control standards.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care.
• Optional certifications such as CCRN, ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are advantageous.
