Registered Nurse - Emergency Care Center

About the Role

A registered nurse with independent practice in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while managing long-term patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.
• Meet competency standards through orientation, preceptorship, and ongoing training, including annual validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; RN license in the relevant state; BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Strong communication and delegation skills.
