Registered Nurse- Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center- Full Time

The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art facility at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire, offering minimally invasive surgical procedures with high-quality care and patient satisfaction. Services include laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, urology, and gynecology. The center provides pre-surgical testing, post-operative care, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs before, during, and after surgeries
• Administer medications and perform wound care as necessary
• Provide educational resources to patients about pre-surgical testing and post-operative care
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety is maintained at all times

Requirements

• Operating room experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
• ACLS preferred
