Registered Nurse eICU Virtual Care Command Center- PRN - Night Shift

Job Summary

This position is located in the Virtual Care Command Center at CoxSouth Hospital. It offers a unique opportunity to expand nursing knowledge through virtual nursing roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Support bedside RNs with tasks to lighten their workload
• Monitor patient’s vital signs
• Aid with admissions and discharges
• Collaborate with virtual physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and Early Intervention Team
• Assist with admission, care plan development and maintenance, patient education, medication and discharge teaching, care coordination, mentoring of new nurses, and implementation of evidence-based care
• Assist the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person
• Real-time quality and patient safety surveillance
• Maintain a wide array of medical care knowledge to care for a diverse group of patients

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of two years previous nursing experience on inpatient nursing unit
• Charge nurse or preceptor experience and specialty nursing certification preferred

Qualifications

• RN license active in the state of Missouri

Pay and Schedule

• $1.00 Certification pay
• $1.00 BSN pay
