About the role
This full-time Emergency Department RN role in Evansville, IN involves leading patient assessment, stabilization, and care in high-acuity situations during three 12-hour night shifts per week, including every other weekend as needed.
Responsibilities
- Cook up with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, rapid care delivery.
- Execute physician and nursing orders promptly, monitor patient status, and document critical changes.
- Provide compassionate discharge education to patients and families.
Requirements
- Valid RN licensure from Indiana
- BLS certification within 30 days
- ACLS or PALS within 6 months
- PREFERRED: Certifications in trauma or emergency nursing
