Position: Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
Full Time, 40 hours weekly
Hours: Monday-Friday, 0700-1530 to 0930-1800
Monthly on-call rotation, holidays: on-call only
What You Will Do
Under general supervision, renders professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician’s treatment plans in order to provide quality patient care. In doing so, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatments, observes patients’ progress, records pertinent observations and reports reactions to drugs and treatments and takes follow up action as needed. Develops or assists in developing patient treatment plans. Assists physicians with cases, procedures or examinations, functions as a team player to fulfill unit goals. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
What You Will Need
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher required.
- Critical Care experience, required.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- A relatively high level of analytical ability is required.
- Incumbents must collect, analyze, and interpret data in order to solve problems requiring a professional level of knowledge in a specific discipline and/or design relatively complex clinical or administrative systems and programs.
- A relatively high level of communication skills is required in order to lead, teach, and persuade others and/or interact effectively with others in very difficult situations.

The hourly pay range is $36.00 - $55.80, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
