About the role
The Day Medicine Unit at Nemours has 10 physical bays, the Sedation Suite contains two anesthesia and two sedation induction rooms, and the PET/MR Suite includes one anesthesia and one sedation induction room.
Responsibilities
- Care for approximately 650 patients each month.
- Perform single or ongoing outpatient IV infusions for various medical conditions.
- Serve all needs for pre-sedation and anesthesia preparation, intra-procedural care, and sedation/anesthesia recovery for medical imaging diagnostic studies and interventional procedures.
- Handle procedures ranging from minutes to 8+ hours in length.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree.
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Preferred previous experience in pediatric nursing.
- American Heart Association PALS and BLS Certification required.

- Current registration with Delaware.
