About the role

Join our Cardiovascular Surgical ICU as a Registered Nurse, providing specialized care in a newly renovated 29-bed unit within a critical care tower. This role involves managing critically ill patients aged 18 and older with severe cardiac, vascular, and thoracic disorders, including cardiogenic shock, aortic dissection, mechanical circulatory support, post-surgical recovery, and more. The RN will collaborate with a highly trained team, ensuring personalized patient care through advanced monitoring and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Act as a leader within the healthcare team
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of acute nursing experience; CVICU or Medical ICU experience preferred
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state; BLS certification required
• In cases of inactive, retired, or lapsed licenses over five years, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is necessary for reinstatement
