About the role
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating peri-operative patient care in compliance with policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintains safe, quality care tailored to patients' age, cultural, and individual needs
- Ensures effective pain management
- Reports abuse or neglect
- Promotes safety and infection control policies
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- RN licensure
- Certification in peri-operative procedures including GYN, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and neurological surgeries
- CPR and ACLS (or scheduled)
- One year medical-surgical or OR experience, with leadership skills desirable
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, and perform physical tasks during shifts
