Registered Nurse - CVOR

About the role

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating peri-operative patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Communicates findings, documents in medical records, and manages care provided by ancillary and professional staff. Maintains supplies and equipment within the unit, collaborates with physicians and interdepartmental personnel, and participates in marketing operating room services. Provides age-specific and culturally sensitive nursing care, including pain management and abuse/neglect assessment. Adheres to safety and infection control policies, supporting the organization’s mission and policies.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school
• RN licensure
• Competency in basic surgical procedures
• CPR certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred experience

• Experience in medical-surgical or operating room settings
• Leadership skills

Lifting, standing, and mobility to perform duties effectively.
