Registered Nurse - Critical Care Transport Team

About the Role

Join a specialized transport team as a Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care RN, providing life-saving care for critically ill infants and children during ground transport across multiple counties. Perform rapid assessments, stabilization, and high-acuity interventions in dynamic environments. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and EMS teams to ensure seamless patient care. Serve as a clinical leader, educator, and patient advocate, supporting continuous improvement and exceptional family experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care aligned with ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act, utilizing critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Coordinate nursing care based on established standards, contributing to quality and safety outcomes.
• Contribute to team efforts through collaboration, professionalism, and cultural competence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred).
• Experience in PICU and NICU settings, with proven competency.
• Current Florida nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills.
• Specialty certifications are a plus.
