Registered Nurse - Critical Care

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide expert nursing care in the Intensive Care Units.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive assessments and reassessments, documenting findings accurately.
• Developing, coordinating, and evaluating individualized care plans based on patient data and physician orders.
• Delivering and documenting nursing interventions, administering medications, and ensuring effective communication among care team members.
• Monitoring patient status, recognizing changes, and taking appropriate actions to ensure safety.
• Providing specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
• Ensuring adherence to safety and infection control policies, maintaining a safe environment, and completing mandatory training.
• Offering exceptional service by communicating effectively, respecting patient dignity, and fostering teamwork.
• Engaging in performance improvement initiatives and applying evidence-based practices.
• Providing age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing appropriate communication and assessment skills.
• Demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and collaborative teamwork while maintaining a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri or applicable compact states.
• At least one year of RN experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, and prolonged standing.
• Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and professional development.
