Registered Nurse- Crisis Stabilization Unit (3p-11p)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities regarding required nursing duties and responsibilities.
• Assist the psychiatrist/physician during medication clinics.
• Monitor client progress and problems between medication clinics and report relevant findings to the psychiatrist/physician.
• Counsel clients on the importance of following medication regimens and observe client’s response to medication.
• Complete reports, records, logs, and other required data for client records.
• Conduct in-service training sessions for staff.
• Conduct intakes.
• Attend administrative and clinical staff meetings.
• Provide various forms of therapy (individual, group, family, marital) as appropriate to level of training.
• Receive clinical supervision.
• Participate in consultation and education activities.
• Consult with other staff members regarding clinical cases and issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
