Registered Nurse Crisis

About the Role
The Crisis Nurse provides services to persons experiencing crisis and in need of immediate intervention. This position's responsibilities span three programs: Walk-In Crisis Unit, Central Recovery Center (CRC), and Adult Diversion and Stabilization (A-DAS). By assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs, you will contribute to the stabilization and recovery of those in crisis.
Responsibilities
- Completes medical triage and assessment
- Case Management
- Medication administration including the administration of long-acting injection medications
- Distinguishes between emergent/urgent needs and ongoing clinical work
- Medication Reconciliation with physicians and pharmacists
- Completes documentation in electronic medical records and utilization of varied electronic portals as needed
- Scheduling and tracking consumer appointments
- Provides medication education
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing AND a minimum of one (1) year of paid behavioral health care experience OR a Registered Nurse AND a minimum of two (2) years of paid behavioral health care experience
- Current RN License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Pre-employment physical/TB screening
- Pre-employment drug screening, Act 33/34/73 clearances

Schedule
This is a full-time non-exempt position (37.5 hours/week) with the following shift:
- Saturday 6:30am to 7:00pm with 2 floating days
