Registered Nurse - Correctional - $2,441 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a correctional facility in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a prison setting. The role requires corrections experience and offers a structured schedule with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to inmates within the Dauphin County Prison facility.
• Monitor and document patient health status accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with corrections staff to ensure safety and compliance.
• Follow all protocols and safety procedures specific to correctional health care.

Requirements

• No new graduates; corrections experience is required.
• 2 years of experience in the last 5 years, with 1 year in the last 3 years.
• Active RN license.

Schedule

• 13-week contract.
• 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour shifts: 18:00 - 06:00 (Day/Night, Rotating).

Pay

Pay range: $2,300.00 - $3,000.00 per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
