Registered Nurse - Correctional - $2,440 per week
About the Role
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse for a correctional facility in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. This position involves providing comprehensive medical care to the incarcerated population in a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sick call and respond to medical emergencies
- Collect and respond to health service requests from units
- Triage requests and coordinate the daily schedule
- See sick call patients and manage multiple follow-up appointments from provider referrals and RN follow-ups
- Work as a nurse clinician for general population and restricted housing
- Provide long-term care for patients housed inpatient in HSU sick cells, illness recovery, or post-operative care
- Temporarily perform lab duties until a Medical Assistant is hired and trained
Requirements
- CPR certification required at time of submittal
- 1098D and 1098N certifications required upon submittal
Schedule
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Duration: 25 weeks (26 weeks for 24 hours/week duties)
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
