Requirements

• Active Virginia State RN license or valid compact state license
• Minimum 1+ year of RN experience (clinicals/externships do not count)
• Ability to commit to the full 26‑week contract
• Availability to work weekends and holidays (VADOC holiday blackout dates apply)
• Updated resume
• Two manager references from the past 2 years
• Government‑issued ID (front and back)

Skills

• Corrections nursing skills (as demonstrated by a Corrections Skills Checklist)
• Current AHA BLS certification
