Registered Nurse Coordinator, Hematology Oncology
Duties / Responsibilities
- Enhances patient care coordination, quality, and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborates with providers across oncology, radiation, surgery, and supportive services.
- Tracks patient progress and serves as a primary point of contact for individuals with hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
- Provides comprehensive patient and family education, addressing treatment plans, side effects, and self-care needs throughout the cancer care continuum.
- Serves as a resource to staff and delivers direct patient care as appropriate.
- Affirms patient needs, facilitates communication among providers, participates in interdisciplinary care planning, and maintains a strong commitment to safety, quality, and patient-centered outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Three years or more of combined clinical experience; nursing experience in oncology preferred.
- Multi-state RN License.
- BLS Required.
- Oncology Certification preferred or obtainment of Oncology specific contact hours per Commission on Cancer Standard requirements.

Pay
Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8a - 4:30 No holidays required.
