Registered Nurse - Contract

About the role

This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a high-tech surgical environment, focusing on patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care during various surgical procedures while adhering to sterile techniques and safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons and team members to facilitate efficient operations
• Operate advanced robotic systems such as DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic surgeries, including total joints, and general surgeries
• Accurately document patient information using the EPIC EMR system
• Participate in on-call rotations, including one night weekly and up to one weekend monthly

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a surgical setting
• COVID-19 vaccination (with possible exemptions)

Skills

• Expertise in operating room protocols
• Proficiency with robotic surgical systems
• Experience with orthopedic procedures
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and communication skills
