Registered Nurse - Clinical Research Coordinator

About the role

The Center for Biobehavioral Research at Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team. This full-time position is based at the Amber Valley building and offers the opportunity to occasionally work remotely after orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist research study participants
• Data collection
• Scheduling
• Screwing and lab draws
• Provide patient assessment for adverse events
• Complete or assist with study related procedures
• Organize complex components of clinical trials
• Test ordering, procedure scheduling, and insurance pre-authorization
• Educate patients, physicians, nurses, and other personnel on the research process
• Monitor enrollment goals and modify recruitment plans as needed
• Ensure the completion of all screening, eligibility, and enrollment procedures
• Work with pharmacy to dispense study articles and provide subject education
• Clarify questions and concerns with the investigator and sponsor
• Review inclusion/exclusion criteria and study protocol
• Document and maintain all study-related procedures, processes, and events
• Abstract data from medical records, clinic, consultation, and referral notes
• Communicate effectively with subjects, research team, IRB, and sponsor representatives

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

$27.50 - $44.00 per hour

Schedule

Full time, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
