Registered Nurse Clinical Manager

About the role

The Clinical Manager oversees clinical operations at a home health branch, leading a team of clinicians to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in the home setting. They coordinate patient services, ensure compliance with regulations, and support clinical practice and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care delivery, staff supervision, and regulatory adherence onsite.
• Review referrals, determine admission suitability, and assign clinicians.
• Guide and support clinicians in care planning, goal-setting, and clinical decisions.
• Monitor documentation, audits, billing, and case management outcomes.
• Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Facilitate communication among healthcare providers and caregivers for coordinated care.
• Engage in quality improvement, data tracking, budgeting, and community outreach.
• Provide limited direct patient care in exceptional circumstances and act as Branch Director when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license.
• Valid CPR certification, driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• At least two years of RN experience, including one year in management within home care or similar environments.
• Home health experience required; OASIS and HCHB experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS PDGM billing and management experience advantageous.
