Registered Nurse Clinical Lead ED

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and staff workflows across high-acuity specialty units to deliver quality clinical care.
• Exercise independent judgment to prioritize shift workflows, align physician dynamics, and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Distribute population-appropriate patient assignments while maintaining unit productivity metrics and managing variances.
• Secure essential clinical supplies, equipment, and resources to support uninterrupted shift delivery.
• Serve as a front-line advocate to resolve care concerns while contributing to staff hiring, education, and performance reviews.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of ED experience.
• Leadership experience.
