The position is based in Madison, Wisconsin and will support an assigned region. The role is fully onsite, with work conducted from an onsite office or through travel to other sites within Wisconsin. Department: Clinical Education - Emergency Services. Job Summary: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Identifies and/or develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
- Maintains training record of educational activities in the Learning Management System or similar system.
- Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient’s age-specific needs and clinical needs.
