About the Role

The Clinical Care Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring quality standards within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource and leader for nursing personnel
• Manages staff scheduling and staffing levels
• Facilitates unit throughput to improve length of stay
• Participates in policy development, process improvement, and peer review activities
• Assists in staff education, mentoring, and performance evaluations
• Collaborates with management on staffing and staffing needs

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Valid RN license in Michigan
• 1-2 years of increasing leadership responsibility
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
