Responsibilities

Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers.

Succesfully functions as a Registered Nurse as defined in Iowa Nursing Regulations and Practice Act.

Provides nursing care for patients and families and maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UPHDM within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Oncology experience is required for this position.
• Due to the specialized nature of the role, only candidates with previous Oncology experience will be considered.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire Successfully complete department specific certifications within one year of hire date Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
