Registered Nurse - Clinic Float

About the role

Provides direct nursing care in a flexible, variable-shift environment within a Clinic Float Pool.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Communicate patient conditions and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess discharge needs and possibly round with physicians.
• Apply evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
• Adhere to professional nursing standards and ethical guidelines.
• Maintain a safe environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Valid RN license and BLS certification in the respective state.
• Strong communication, alertness, physical stamina, and ability to perform various physical tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and data entry.
• Occasional patient lifting and movement.
• Sensory acuity for vision, hearing, and smell.
