About the role
This is a full-time position working 8-hour shifts during an orientation period from Monday to Friday, then transitioning to 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week. The employee will be on-call for holidays, weekends, and after-hours.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Two years current Cath Lab experience.
- In the absence of applicants with two years current Cath Lab experience, two years of Critical Care or current ED experience may be accepted.
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
- Preferred: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing, two years of nursing experience, and two years of Cath Lab Procedure Room experience.
- Applicants with Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and applicable training and orientation will also be considered.
