Registered Nurse - Cath Lab - Days

About the Role

Responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Supervise and collaborate with team members to promote a therapeutic and safe environment.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure understanding and quality care.
• Administer medications and IV therapy accurately and timely.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to hospital policies and standards.
• Support professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvement in patient experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current nursing license in Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications as required.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Ability to stand, move, bend, reach, and handle equipment for extended periods.
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, and skin irritants.
